We have made the process of joining groups simple for people by posting all our available groups online twice a year—in January and August. Those looking to join a group register for a group that fits their age, location, night of the week preference, and stage of life, which are all outlined in the group descriptions on the website.
Group leaders have the opportunity to launch their groups from their homes or digitally following the close of group registration. We find that this method of launching groups and meetings makes a better overall experience for the group members. During registration, leaders reach out to introduce themselves to people who sign up for their group via phone calls and emails, while offering details on the first group meetings. Group members then have the opportunity to ask leaders questions. Then, groups launch on their designated time and day of week. Our staff is always available during these initial weeks to help any group members that remove themself from group selections to find another group option.
