Our Why
We’re your home away from home.
College can be an isolating experience. It’s possible to be surrounded by people and still lonely. There aren’t many places where you can experience meaningful community and have honest conversation about the deeper issues of life. The Living Room exists to be a home away from home for college students—a place to belong.
We have The Living Room environments at the following locations:
The Gathering
Here’s what happens every week.
We share dinner. It’s free and there’s no better way to connect with others than over a meal.
We worship. Through music and song, we express our love for God. Whatever you believe or don’t believe it’s an incredible atmosphere.
We listen to a message. Each talk is practical, challenging, and deals with a topic we face in everyday life.
We discuss what we’re learning in small groups.
