Circles are better than rows.
At North Point, a Community Group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. In these groups, people study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where people pray together, care for one another, and are missed if they don’t show up. There isn’t a way for the staff or elders to personally minister to everyone who attends a North Point church. That’s why we place such emphasis on group life at each campus. It’s how we minister effectively.
Community Groups are small groups comprised of six to twelve individuals or five to seven married couples that meet for connection, Bible study, prayer, friendship, and accountability. They are closed groups that commit to meet together for 9 to 24 months. Groups are categorized by marital status and/or gender (single/married/men/women). Also, when available, we post Short-Term Groups (usually topical), Starting Point Groups, and Care Network Groups (financial, marriage growth, and divorce recovery), and Young Adult groups (for twentysomethings). Groups are available to local attendees and are filtered by in-person, digital, or hybrid-group meeting options depending on leader preferences.
