Excellerate is a one-day missions conference specifically designed for senior church leadership and global missions leaders who feel that it’s time to rethink, retool, and reengage how our churches impact the world.

In collaboration with other leaders, you will create a path of innovative solutions and practical systems. These tools will transform your paradigm of effective missions, especially as it relates to working with the poor. We hope you will attend and look
forward to seeing you in May.

Breakout Descriptions

VETTING + DEVELOPING HEALTHY PARTNERS
– BILLY NOLAN

Finding and cultivating the right international partner has the power to transform lives. In this breakout we will provide specific, practical systems to help evaluate, vet, embrace and cultivate international partners, helping them to go further
and faster than they could on their own.

WORKING WITH THE POOR
– DURWOOD SNEAD

Well-intentioned westerners frequently provide aid that hurts versus development that has sustained impact. In this breakout we will review practical principles on how to nurture Christ-centered, community-initiated development that has a long-
term transformational impact.

SHORT-TERM TRIPS
– JOHN BURROUGH

Doing short-term trips well requires a lot of strategic planning between a U.S. church and an international partner. When done effectively, mission trips help the international partner go further faster, produce fruit in the lives of our people,
and become a catalyst for engagement in the local church.

John Burrough, Director of Short-term trips and his team will lead us through strategies and systems that will help you facilitate encounters with Jesus that radically change lives both at home and internationally.

MOBILIZING OUR PEOPLE
– KADI CARROLL

How do you spread the awareness and excitement of missions beyond those who go on trips? Every year, we create new ways to get in front of our ministries, volunteers, and attendees through communication strategies that get people excited about what their church is doing around the world. In this breakout, we’ll share some key principles for making your missions ministry stick throughout the entire church.
