Unlike our other two events, the Christmas event changes from year to year based on the needs of our community, but it always includes a creative celebration of the Christmas season. Here is a brief glimpse of the last two years.
Giving Up Christmas 2008
In 2008, we decided to take a different spin on the Christmas season by turning Christmas upside-down. Singles from our different campuses competed for cash ranging from $5-$25. The one catch—all participants left with the challenge to give away all of their prize money by serving others in need.
Curious about what came out of this upside-down event? Check out the stories and pictures from those who attended:
A Christmas Story 2009
In 2009, singles from all three campuses came together for an inspirational night of great laughs and entertainment from actor and comedian Susan Isaacs, as well as best-selling author, Donald Miller. Donald spoke on the experiences that shaped his latest work, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, and how he learned to live a story worth telling.
