Missionary Care

Care Team Strategy
1. Primary Care Contact
All globalX missionaries will select a Primary Care Contact (PCC) before funding is released. The PCC is a  member of a North Point Ministries campus. This individual will serve as the missionary’s primary “link” to the body of their church and globalX. The PCC should be relationally close to the missionary to know their fears or concerns.
2. Care Team
The PCC will lead a care team for their missionary, and act as the spokesperson for the group. The care team    will provide prayer, care, coordination, and advocacy for the missionary to include:
o    Special care packages, birthday cards, Christmas cards, etc.
o    Help the new missionary prepare their family to go.
o    Close communication with the missionary family after arrival on site.
o    Furlough needs of the missionary, before, during, and after.
o    Alert the church of the financial, physical or spiritual needs of the missionary family.
o    Help their missionary raise financial support by assisting him in the process (host dinners, offer    encouragement, find contacts, etc)
