Loved this video. And everything else y’all do on Sundays. I’ve been going to NP for a long time, and it never fails to amaze me what you all can do.
Random question: I was talking to a friend at church last night about the “predictability” of the Christmas Eve services…you know, cool band thing, introduction, “Joy to the World”…and so on. She mentioned that NPCC had done some sort of video (for Drive?) kind of poking fun of the structure of North Point’s services. I’ve looked all over, but I can’t find it anywhere. Does it exist?
I love the lighting on this! We just finished our christmas production and fought with the “creative” element of lighting, and also lighting the band.
I noticed you have quite a few fixtures on the front of your stage as uplights, what are those, they look like LED white lights! Also, how do you decide early on, what temp your color temperature should be? We dealt with conventional, automated lights, and a spot light, so our white balance was all over the place.
Great video by the way, props to all your production teams, and volunteers!! Make sure you respond after christmas, no go enjoy it with your families!!!
I’ve only watched 2 of these videos and I’m in tears. NorthPoint, Andy Stanley, Todd Fields, how about cloning yourselves and creating a NorthPoint Community Church in Clearwater or Largo, FL?? For never having set foot in your church, I feel that your church and staff have touched my heart and soul more times that you could ever imagine. Thank you for your ministry!! It means more to me than you could ever imagine! May God continue to bless you all and the ministry you provide!!!
Tally,
Glad you liked it. We did have a video posted called “Sunday’s Coming.” It went viral which was a shock and we decided to remove it because it created quite the controversy… we just did it for fun and out of context to the Drive Session people didn’t understand.
Zeke,
Media Dept are only video content creation (post-production). Your question is for the Live Production guys in SPD. visit http://www.npccproduction.org/faq/lighting/ for more info and CONTACT if you have further questions.
And yes without a doubt our Production volunteers are rock stars.
Bonnie,
Thanks for your kind words. You are why we export what we do to others. Maybe one day we’ll have a partner nearby. In the meantime you can keep watch. http://www.northpointpartners.org/
Thanks Y’all! (In my best South GA accent… yeah I’m an authentic redneck)
Quick question, were the kids shot on green screen or just a black backdrop…. and to use that song arrangement (which is awesome, i have your cd) for a video intro to be shown at our church what license/permission is needed from you guys? Thank you!
Shot on Black Backdrop Jeremy. For permission for the song, I have no idea. I would start with NP resources with talking to Allison Russell here at North Point. 678-892-5694.
