wiibracket2If you have been following us for a while, you know that we love what we do, and we love having fun. It’s been 10 months since our last official Wii Tennis Tournament, so we decided it was due time for another tournament within the Media Department. This time around we have a few more players due to the additions of Andy Waddell (fantastic video editor contractor), JJ Brummett (amazing audio engineer contractor), and Jordan Barron (awesome eager intern). We are still trying to decide the prize for first place. Any Suggestions? We’re thinking about a day off for the winner, but Brad just rolls his eyes when that gets brought up.

galleryimage_16199_f-788731For our team, this is a great way to laugh and relax for a few minutes, but more importantly than that, it is one of the ways that we build on our relationships as a team. In our previous Wii post, we asked how you have fun at work, and we received some good responses.  Now we want to know, how do you guys go about building strong relationships on your teams? Competitions? Parties? Retreats?

I’ll let you know how the whole day off think works out, and who might be the one taking it (who knows, may just be bragging rights). Stay Tuned.

If you look at the bracket names and wondering who “the heavy” is . . . wonder no more.

haha. You should find somewhere that does small cheap trophies and whoever wins gets a trophy with their name or tag on it and people can put them on display in the office. Start building a collection if they are good.. Bragging rights.

We build our relationships by going to lunches once a week or so and just having fun. Sometimes we’ll go to a concert or something that not only brings us closer together but gives us ideas at the concerts too.

That is great. I would love to do this with our department here at Liberty University. I stumbled on your blog here and it has been great encouragement to my video team here. Keep up the great work!

P.S. Get a trophy and paint a wii remote with Gold Paint!

Good idea on the gold painted Wii remote. Chris, nice find on that trophy. That would be perfect. That is all the bragging rights you would need without saying a word.
