So we are about to launch into a great week with our Drive13 crowd! We’re excited!
We are also releasing several new products. I’m excited about these products because these are all pieces that we’ve taught our kids over the past year. They are our favorites!!!
We write curriculum every month, but we only release the pieces that were a great, over-the-top success within our children’s ministry. We do what you do every Sunday. We see, like you do, what works and what doesn’t.
So here’s what I loved about each:

I love a lot of things about this new music project! I love that our kids will want to sing it! The lyrics were written with them in mind. We worked hard to chose words that were a part of their everyday language. We tried to chose styles of music that are resonating with kids right now in culture. We want our kids singing about and worshipping our amazing God! I have a lot of favorite songs on this record, but today my favorite is “Look At Our God”.
Look At Our God

My favorite thing has got to be the artwork. I really loved how cute the bugs turned out. The kids loved them. There were some awesome, big, creatively told Bible stories in this series too. And a great bug catcher take home! Kids AND parents loved that!

I just loved this series from beginning to end. I thought it was so clear for kids. I thought the message of love, salvation, and a personal relationship with Jesus was powerful. This connected with our kids and was one of those series that as a leader I knew was the whole reason I do what I do. One of my favorite things in this series is the baptism explanation video for kids.
** This series is available for pre-order at Drive13 and will be released on April 1st at northpointstore.com

We released this last year, but if you haven’t seen it, you should check it out. This is our gospel presentation for kids and parents, and it’s a hallmark of our church. This is one of those things that we will never ever regret. One of my favorite things in this product is the speaking script. I love the clarity of the message, and how easy it is to remember.

So I love this because it’s happy and fun. Just saying the title makes me smile. There is an original song that will get stuck in your head. Your preschoolers will sing it over and over. The message is powerful and clear. God loves you.

You guys did another wonderful job at Drive ’13! My team was so impressed and blown away by all that you do! I wanted to know where you can get a hold of the JumpStart charms (God Loves, etc.) that you give out to the kids (the plastic/silicon tabs on the chain)?
Hi Mark!
Glad you enjoyed Drive13! We had a great time!
The artwork for these charms is found in our God Loved product. We gave them out on the 5th week of this series. Then we took the artwork and shopped around until we found a good price to get them made. Our vendor is not a good source for you — but I’m sure you can find a local vendor who would give you the best deal. The series God Loved will be available at our northpointstore.com on April 1.
Hope that helps you!

Hi! I downloaded the SHINE! album and LOVE it! Do you have the performance tracks available for us to purchase?
Hi Anne-Marie! Glad to hear you’re loving the new album and much as we are! The tracks will be available on April 9 at our store: NorthPointStore.com. Thanks!
Hi ! We had an awesome time at Drive! thank you so much for opening up and sharing with us! We are getting ready to purchase the We Believe curriculum for the Jumpstart. Is the baptism video above apart of that as well? Is there a a promo video for the we believe class in the curriculum? Also I wanted to see if the information in the evacuation bags is something that is available. that perhaps we could look at the create our own “verbage” to fit out environments?
Help! I purchased “For Heaven’s Sake” at OC12, but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for as a JumpStart type event. I’ve now purchased “We Believe,” and I like it much better, however, “God Loved” looks like it might actually trump WB. Could you give me an idea of how much overlap there is between the two? Also, I’ve been considering the props for WB from The Pop Shop, but it looks like GL would need additional/different props. How different are the set requirements? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for your interest in We Believe and God Loved.
We Believe is what we use for a special event that walks our parents and kids through the gospel presentation. This curriculum provides a complete presentation script, video example of the presentation, audio message (homework for the parents), and lots of art files to go along with everything.
God Loved is a 5-week series we did last year (2012) for Easter. This doesn’t have to be used at Easter, although it works great for that time of year. This curriculum includes 5-weeks of large group and small group (for Kindergarten-5th grade). We do use a lot of the same language in both curriculums to make it cohesive, but they are used differently. God Loved adds next steps: an explanation of baptism (“We Show”) and how to be a light to the world (“We Shine”).
Set Pieces: For We Believe we use a magnetic board with John 3:16 printed on it and magnetic icons. We visually connect the icons (“God Loved”, “God Gave”, etc.) that go with each part of the verse. In God Loved, we printed the icons on foam core. One side has the icon by itself, the other side has the icon with the corresponding words (e.g., “God Loved”, “God Gave”, etc.). These foam core icons were hung on a clothing line so that we could review them each week. It’s relatively cheap to do, but we found it to be very effective for our kids!
Hope that helps!
HI!! I went to the store today to look for God Loved and I did not see it. Is it under a different title???
Thanks for all you do!
Jo
Hi Jo!
“God Loved” isn’t out quite yet. We’re hoping to send it out by the end of April! If you use twitter, follow us @NPKids. We’ll be posting there as soon as it’s available in the store.
Maria,
Thank you sooo much for the information! I will be on the look out for it! I was wondering if you could share what y’all did last Summer – I think I saw it was EPIC – if I remember completley – very interested in that!
Thanks in advance
Jo
Hi Jo,
We did do a series called EPIC, but we actually used most of our base of material from 252basics.com. It was their summer material from 2012. We added in some fun EPIC acts like a dance team, magician, etc. Our theme was mostly black and white with a lot of neon and glow-in-dark. Hope that helps!
