Infrastructure
Our information technology department is responsible for creating a technology infrastructure and supporting those who utilize that infrastructure - primarily our staff team. The infrastructure consists of hardware and software. The hardware is the normal set of routers, switches, cabling, servers, computers, and other technology that is critical in every modern organization. The software we support includes our church database management system, office automation software from Apple and Microsoft, production software from Apple and Adobe, and many other miscellaneous applications. Currently, we support about 400 Apple laptops and 15 PC desktops.
Church Management Database
We utilize a church database management system, Roll Call, developed by By the Book. The software has proved to be very flexible and meets many of our needs. Roll Call is the primary repository for demographic information for our members, regular attendees, and other people with whom we must maintain contact.
