Structure

There are numerous Guest Services volunteers all over the church on Sundays doing many things to help the guests have a good experience. On the surface, it may seem like they are doing different tasks, but the truth is they are all working together to create the best possible experience for the guests. Because they are all working together, they need to be unified under one umbrella: Guest Services.

By creating one Guest Services department, each individual and each team sees themselves as one larger team that is working together to maximize the guests’ experience. It helps each team see how they are connected and working together. And it also makes each team and all the systems easier to lead.

At each campus, we have a paid staff person to lead Guest Services. They act as the primary vision caster for this area. They also lead the volunteer leaders, oversee all systems, and are the ultimate go-to person.

Below is an org chart showing the basic structure of Guest Services common among our campuses.

While we are one church with three campuses, each one of our campuses is unique in some ways. One of the ways each campus is unique is in some of the teams within Guest Services. Below are some of these unique teams:

  • Browns Bridge Community Church – Medical Team, NEXT Team
  • Buckhead Church – Medical Team, Pedestrian Team
  • North Point Community Church – Tour Team, Hospitality Team
