Others have not been to church in years. And while the circumstances that brought them here may vary, one thing is almost certain: their first impression often determines if they ever come back. You’ve heard the old saying, “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” We believe there is a lot of truth in that statement. We realize that our guests will form opinions of our church based on their first impression. That is why we place such a heavy emphasis on Guest Services. You see, for us, Guest Services is more than just teams of people who park cars, greet people at the doors, and help people find their way around. Guest Services is an entire philosophy. From the moment our guests pull into the parking lot to the moment they leave, our Guest Services volunteers are interacting with them. They, literally, have an influence on every man, woman and child who walks through our doors. Throughout the day, our volunteers are creating the first impression for our guests. That means we place the needs of our guests at the very top of the priority list. That means we go above and beyond to welcome, inform, and serve them in a way that exceeds their expectations. By doing this, we can ensure that their first impression is the best impression.
