Community Groups > Leader Development

Each leader is equipped, developed, and monitored around six key essentials that we have defined as the components to a healthy group experience. While the list is not exhaustive, we believe the group experience will be valuable for both the leader and the participants if the leader implements these priorities. The six leader essentials are:
Think Life Change
Promote Participation
Cultivate Relationships
Replace Yourself
Provide Care
Multiply Influence

All of our equipping times, both corporate and one-on-one, are centered on these essentials.

Our leader development strategy includes an initial community group leader orientation (CGLO), one campus-wide training event (re:group), one mid-size skills development and shared learning environment (S2), and three one-on-one meetings between a group leader and his or her Groups Director each year.
