I have just finished one of your other books ” the principle of the path” and the last chapter just brought me a full circle back to where I was to start with. “Not my will but yours be done” seems to take away from all the attention direction destination you have tslked about. when you realize that your dreams won’t happen, just trust God your heavenly Father He knows best. It seems no matter how much paying attention to the direction of the dream happens if its gone its gone isn’t it? So you can see my bewilderment, it seems to negate all the previous chapters for those who have lost those dreams and see themselves too old to see a way to change direction although trying very hard to.
It’s very encouraging for those who have a lot of years left in their life (I’m 56), but I came to the point if it hasn’t happened by now then it never will. I had been putting plans into action for years and trusting God but always ending in dead ends or lack of fruit. My wife and I have no idea anymore but still expecting more fruitfulness in the kingdom…somehow.

Thank you for the comment, John! It’s difficult for us to comment on your specific situation with the limited knowledge we have, but throughout Scripture we see so many examples of people who did not get to experience their “dream” until very late in life. And we see some whose dream did not come to fruition until after their death. God is very aware of you and your dream. He has a plan for your life. Do not lose heart!
